The Ponderings of A Tall Man

IN AN ENDLESS TRADITION OF GOD'S WORD AND THE MIRACULOUS!!!

A tall man once wondered how people viewed him:
in a view beyond the frame of pretence or
a piercing sight into his inner man?
"You are so cute!" some said;
"You are such a good boy," he allowed himself to be misled.
Tauntings, he thought, grew;
words spoken in stares, allude.
Years passed without him knowing the truth,
which is simply, "Not in a life that you should."

A tall man once wore the spectacles of people.
An action to see how he was seen.
Non-plussed, at what he saw,
it was a view behond the frame of pretence:
a piercing insight into his inner man.

In the One who held him in embrace-
he found a bile of despise;
In another who paid him compliments in many ways-
a liver of lies.
In the silence of a watchful observer-
he stumbled on a heart of love;
In the secrecy of an admirer-
he was a beggar craving for attention at the curve!

A tall man later said: "Never do things for those you see,
moreso for those you don't see;
only One can hold you in high esteem and love-
and that is THE LORD JESUS TO THEE!!!"
